ABOUT PAYPOINT

PayPoint commenced trading in the UK in 1996 initially collecting cash payments for household bills and services through its network of Retail Agents.  In 2003 the Electricity Supply Board of Ireland (ESB) signed an agreement with PayPoint to give their customers the option of paying their bill or buying their electricity tokens at PayPoint.  Consequently PayPoint began to plan and roll out a new network of agents in the South of Ireland to collect these payments.

Bord Gais, Chorus NTL, Vodafone and O2 soon joined ESB and now more than 500 PayPoint outlets in Southern Ireland collect cash payments on behalf of many household and service organisations.
