How do I find my local PayPoint?

Please call 1800 923 259 to find out where you nearest PayPoint store is

What payments can I make?

You can make payments for all the major energy, telecoms and e-money organisations in  Ireland as well as for many Local Authorities and Housing Associations, such as Wexford, Kilkenny, Laois and Meath County Councils and Dublin City Council, and buy or top up the best selling international calling cards in the market - please click here for a full listing.

How do I make a payment?

Your utility or service provider will supply you with a card, or barcoded bill, which you just need to bring to your local PayPoint, with your cash to make your payment.  You will always get a receipt for the payments you make.

You can also buy electronic top-up vouchers for Vodafone, Three, Meteor, Lyca and Tesco Mobile and top-selling calling cards through PayPoint. Just visit your local PayPoint and tell the retailer which top-up you want to buy as you hand over your cash.

What do I do if I have a question about my bill or service?

PayPoint does not hold any details about customer accounts. Therefore, you must contact your utility or service provider if you have any questions about your bill or service.

Why do I need to keep my receipt?

Like any purchase, it’s your proof of purchase. If something goes wrong (eg, a gas purchase doesn’t register on your prepayment meter), it tells you, us and the service supplier that you’ve paid, where and when you paid and how much.

I have lost my PayPoint receipt. Can you find my payment?

We may be able to help, but you need to provide us with some information. Please send an email to paypointirelandteam@paypoint.ie with all the following details:

  • when the payment was made
  • the amount paid
  • the name and address of the PayPoint outlet where you made the payment
  • what payment you were making

PayPoint takes all complaints seriously. If you want to complain about our service, you can email us at paypointirelandteam@paypoint.ie or call our contact centre on 1800 923 259 or write to us at the following address:
